Windshield wipers causing amp to skip?
I got my system in a few weeks ago. Yesterday i was driving home from work and it was raining, so i had my windshield wipers on. I kept noticing the bass would skip occasionally. I called the guy who installed it and he figured it was a wiring problem. He said he could re wire it sometime next week. So later on i get in the car with my friend and i tell him about it, right away he says its my wipers. So i actually paid attention to my wipers and EVERYTIME they went acorss the windshield, my bass would stop. It seems very strange to me. Has anyone else had this problem? anyways of fixing it?

strange. I never heard of this kind of problem before. Unless the installer didnt run the power wire directly from the battery (he would if he knows what he is doing). I cant think of a logic explaination for this. Maybe I dont know enough.

That's funny, the only thing that stops working when I turn on my wipers is my ability to see out of my windshield -- freakin' Acura factory windshield washer fluid!
