Will this set-up work?

I am thinking about getting this Amp:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-NJZAG6T...x?i=500MRPF550

Those push 90w X 4 at 4 ohms.
Will these be okay with Alpine component speakers that require 100 watt RMS?

Also planning on getting some 6x9 rear speakers which will probably require less than 100 watts. Thanks for any input.

I guess my real question is : How do you correctly hook up amplifier and speakers according to their RMS? Thanks.

Yes they will be ok. 100 watt rms speakers is the max rms wattage you want going to them. 90w is perfect. I didnt look at the amp close..it IS 90w rms right?

You can use speakers that are slightly lower than the amp rating without any problem. Just watch your gains.

2-way/3-way speakers has to do with the sound range. 2-way is like a mid+tweeter. 3-way is like two speakers + tweeter (i dont know much about 3way tbh).

3ways generally sound like crap. Get some components.

EDIT: oh i just reread your post...for the 6x9s in the rear...are you planning on a sub? if so then just get 2-way 6x9s. If you arent getting a sub you may want to look at decent 3ways...(someone else step in here please)
