The base TL I have has a better sounding stereo. More bass cleaner, & clearer. I was very suprised to hear it. I moved the same cd's from the CLS to the TL loaner, listen with the same settings, & the TL just blows the CLS stereo apart. How can Acura do that? I never heard the TL stereo before. It almost sounds like my CLS with the basslink.

 

hummm could it have something to do with the tl having a pseudo sub on the rear deck...

 

tl also has some sort of equalizer behind the H/U (???) which, in addition to the sub, probably goes a long way in explaining the difference between the sound of the two.
