Whats better........Alpine Type-R components or JL components????
I heard both, and to be honest, the Alpines sounded just as good......if not better, and they would save me $250. Just looking for opinions

Focals! Heheh .... j/k ... What type of music you listen to? If you are like me and like a VERY broad range, I would go for the Alpines especially because of the cost!

If i can sell my Rainbows then I will go ahead and pay more for the Focals. They were perfect for my taste in music. I miss them.. damn Mantis.

So if anyone wants to buy my rainbow pros 6.5 then PM me.. they only been in the car for about 2 weeks now..

Oh and rainbows are way better than JL... IMO

I think the Alpines are the way to go. They sounded as good as the JLs for less money!!!!!!! I wanna buy stuff from the shop that is going to install it........it just makes everyoe happier that way!!!!!

If you are going to get Alpiine, you should get the type x speakers. SPX-177A. Thats the best 2way set that they have. I dont think you will be dissapointed. I preferred them over the type s/r versions.

The only thing that rattles is the spoiler............if there was no spoiler, I don't think it would rattle at all.
