What type of sub/amp/deck do you have?

I recently traded my 2000 Honda S2000 for a white '99 TL w/ Navi & Chrome OEM wheels. So much more comfortable and classy in my opinion. Anyway, I had a 12" Image Dynamics IDMax (1000w) with a Hifonics Brutus amp in there, and now I'm going to transfer it into my TL. My enclosure is currently being built, it will be 2.8 cuft ported.

I also have a Panasonic MXE CQ-C9801U deck thats being delivered in 2 days by Crutchfield. They had a special w/ free shipping, harness, and mounting kit- I couldn't find a better deal anywhere else. Plus I love the 5v preamp.

Just curious to see what other people have on here, and how do you think it sounds in your TL? Pics are a definate plus! I will post mine when its in (1-2 wks).

Hey Zasker, how do you like your Diamond Audio? I actually used to use an M6 mkii (with a phoenix gold amp). It had very good sq, but not enough bump for me. Its sitting in my living room right now =/

dang you put a max in an s2k?
how big was the box in the s2k? or was it running IB?

i had an RE HC in a ported 2.5 cu ft. box in my legend, and it took up at least half the trunk (given that i did not make it custom to maximize trunk space)

i was sick of that, so i switch to a pair of RE8's in a 1 cu. ft. total vol. ported box. They are just being powered by the rear channels off a cheap MA audio amp. I'm unbelieveably satisfied with this set up given that my amp (powering both my interiors and subs) and subs cost me less than $120 after shipping.

don't worry, this is just a temporary set up, until i can get all the components for my next system. All i'm missing is a sub (haven't decided), and some new components (DIY).
