Question What does pre-wired for CD really mean?

When I bought my 2000 TL, the dealer told me the stereo was prewired for a changer. My BMW was prewired and the cable was already in the trunk; I just need to hook up the changer. When I did a search on this forum, I did not find any indication of this. Street and others indicated you had to hook up the wire to the deck. My car is a non-navi w/ a Bose system.

It means they left the plug in the back of the radio for the changer...thats about it. i just installed it yesterday and it was easy, just tedious. Tim posted a howto here and they are perfect!
