I was planning on getting the alumapro alchemy12 with some quality amps... but gonna keep the factory hu and speakers. Would it be pointless then to get a good sub and amp since factory decks supopsedly dont put out much power? I heard that unless you get aftermarket deck, no point in getting nice sub/amp. please explain. newbie here.

 

I have two amps, new door spkrs and a sub all running off the stock Bose system.
Of course I had to do some work to make it work but you can add amps and sub to the Bose without getting a new deck.

i realize i can do it but my question is would it be pointless for me to get "GOOD" amps and sub since im running off a factory deck?
