Nav Pre-Wired??

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the '04 is pre-wired for nav. I did a search but didn't find anything. A friend on mine is contemplating installing the nav and since I did it on my '02 TL-S, I offered to help him out. Although, I really hope that he is pre-wired because it took me forever to run all those wires. Any info would be very helpful....thanks.

Thread moved to navi subforum.

There are a couple threads on people converting from non-nav to nav. Check the 3G garage they may be in there

Damn, just for a harness. I'll build one up...forget all that. I did it for my '02 so I figure it can't be much more difficult for the '04. I'll be reading up on this quite a bit and see if I can find some threads of people that have already done it. Thanks for the info.

This is the part number 32117-SEP-A30 Wire Harness. How much did you paid for your navi system did you buy OEM or from wreck car?

forget paying 2grand for navi. I picked up a streetpilot i3 for 250.00 and could not be happier. It does everything the acura navi does in the aspect of "navigating". For 3bills you can't go wrong. I used the navi for over a month in a loaner car given to me by acura and agree it works nicely...however, 2000.00 or 250.00? I chose 250.00

And why would anyone want to hook up a stock navi to a non-navi TL? Why not install the PC system like ITL did. Thats the setup and it costs a lot less.
