What to do with 6x9's?

I re did my audio system about a year ago, but I never took out my 6x9's in the back of my TSX. Do you guys normally take them out or leave them in? I was thinking if I took them out maybe I'd get more bass from the sub in the trunk, but would it also introduce more road noise? Thanks guys!

Are you not using them? If you're not using them and they're not hooked up, I'd take them out

I removed mine a long time ago. I think it introduces more road noise that its worth. A better solution may be to remove them (if you are not using them) and dynamat fill the top shelf instead, including covering over the holes.

Thanks for the tip. They are not connected at all, but I was afraid that since there'd just be a hole there it'd cause a lot of road noise to be introduced into the cabin.
