I am gonna buy a system in 2 weeks and I cant figure out what system I should buy. I am either gonna buy 2 S12L7 Kicker 12", 1 Jl audio 13W7, or 3 audiobahn 12" (dub edition subs). Let me know what subs you would buy or show some pics of your system if anyone has these subs. thanks

 

What is your goal (sq or SPL)? What amplifier are you using? How much trunk space do you want to use? Any future plans for your system?

So far all I have is the 1000Watt Xtant amp. My budget for everything would be around $2,500. I want a nice custom box (dont really need any trunk space). I just need help picking the subwoofers.

 

Then go with the 13W7.

That's pretty much top of the line.

You might need a stonger amp though.

 

I found out that my amp wont have any problem pushing the Jl 13W7. I think that is the sub im gonna get, I have heard alot of good things about this sub but I also heard when you turn the volume on high the sub starts to sound like crap.

 

go with the JL, no question, push it with enough power and you won't have that problem

 

13w7 is a great sub... if you have the cash go for it... with all that bass your going to need to beef up the interior speakers as well just so you know :P

 

my 10w7 should be at my doorstep soon, i cant wait, i have heard nothing but good from the w7's.
