what amp??

What would be a good amp for the time being to push 2 kicker cvr 12"
100-150$$

for those of us not familiar with kicker, how much power is the rated RMS handling????........ should be written on the box or something

yeah wow.....you really need to either give those numbers or at least say the exact model CVRs have been around around forever and the old ones had like 400 peak....the new ones are 800 peak......

even then Peak means almost nothing... in the end RMS is what counts most

it was really to just make a point the new has a rms of 400 and the old one i think was like 150-200

sorry it has an rms of about 400w .. i just miss the thumping.. i can't afford an expensive amp right now

i'm thinking something a long the lines of:
Phoenix Gold R8.0.1
Directed D1200
but I've never tried either of these before. I've also heard good things about clarion amps, but don't know much about them.

in the case that its SVC 4s then it will be a net 2 or 8-ohm load

in the case that its DVC 4s the it'll be 1 or 4 ohm net load depending on wiring setup


most all amps are 4 and 2 ohm stable, not many cheap ones will be 1 ohm stable, amps will deliver to 8 ohms but you wont get much power at all
