sounds like a lot, just based on the equipment (but then again, i only paid 4k for my car (legend), so a $4500 sound system sounds like a lot). Even if you paid retail for everything, i can't see it coming out to too much more than 2.5 - 3k just for the equipment. (but i think it can be gotten for cheaper than retail, also depends on the RF amp, as you didn't specify a model)

so i sure hope that the installation was pretty custom. so it's hard to judge w/o pictures.

(i might be biased, just cause i really hate RF......not cause their products are bad, but i just usually find people with RF equipment think their system is all crazy, when they have like the cheapest RF stuff on the market, and have no clue what they are talking about), please don't take any offense to that personally or anything, i don't even know you, so i can't judge, plus you actually paid for some of the nicest equipment RF makes, and i have personally never heard or installed any of their high end equipment. the alpine unit and the RF power amp probably took up most of the budget. Those darn RF power series amps are expensive! I envy for the deck.

custom will be last! not to soon from now

How are we supposed to check out your system if you don't post pics? We all know what the equipment is, listing it with the stock web pictures doesn't really do much You might as well just post a link to Crutchfield and say hey go browse around in the stereo section.
