I have to 2 12 W0s with a ROckford 351m amp installed now. FIrst of all if anyone has any offers holla at me. Secondly i want to know if i got a 10 inch W7 with a 500/1 will I have to get a new head unit? and will i have to rewire my car with new stuff?

 

If you have the wires ran, you should have no problem. The 10W7 and 500/1 is the perfect combo....you'll be happy!

 

i just got a 10w7 n 500.1 amp. i wont be getting a new headunit and my custom ported box is being made rite now. ill tell u how happy i am when i get everything installed this weekend.

Question: Can a 10w7 compare to 2 12: w6's?

 

In order to gain 6 decibles...you have to double your power and cone area. 1 10W7 would be close, but the 2 12"s would be louder with a good amount of power....remember...3 decibls is barely audible!

 

...also porting makes a huge differnece...I have a 12 W6v2 comming off a alpine 1507 in a vented enclosure in the trunk, louder than my friends 2- 10 W7's sealed running off of a 1000/1 but the sound quality is alot more clear from the sealed W7's... like with any selaed vs ported (in the x-cab of a sierra)

 

w7 will thump u could even use a higher amp
