Anyone else have this problem?... The original unit I purchased off of ebay locked my radio up constantly and my radio would not take the code until I unplugged the antenna...I did this like 6 or 7 times till I was fed up!


So I sent in the original unit and they sent back a new one....This one locked my radio up like 4 times so far but the radio is miraculously accepting the code when i punch it in without having to take off the panels and removing the antenna. So the iPOD adapter locking up my radio isn't so bad...yet!

I did the NAVI conversion...that's the only anomaly I can think of.

 

what does the radio say EEE mine did that too i removed the plug for the adapter and found that on pin wasnt in the whole way so it would cause it to lock up. also usa spec released a new cable for the newer gen ipods so make sure you have the new cable that goes to the ipod, and check the pins in the usa spec harness.

 

I have an 00 TL, single disc CD Bose with a USA-SPEC Ipod adapter. I didn't disconnect the radio to install it and when I did replace the battery the radio took the codes.

I'm wondering if you have the wrong unit for your radio?
