tweeter placement

I'm planning to upgrade my stock speakers with components and I need suggestions on where to mount tweeters. I don't want to mount them where they can be seen, so I was thinking placing them in front of the 6.5s by using a piece of metal (like the ones they use to secure water heaters). Will there be any problems with this setup? If so, where would you place the tweeter?

If you REALLY don't want to see them put them in the AC/Heat vents on the dash. I have seen it done in an Accord that my friend used to own. You have them at close to ear level and you can angle them to your preference. Just an idea....

Go out and either get a good set of coaxials, or buy what I got, CDT Audio Braixials. Here's a pic

They came with that bracket. You can also make them components by taking the bracket off.

Bottom line, for the best sound, the tweets need to be as close to the mids as possible.

That's exactly what I was talking about. I'm going to see what type of material I can use for brackets at home depot.

thanks for the advice guys.
