I've an 04 TSX 6sp m/t. I'm looking to see whether there is an update available for the DVD disc. I currently have the stock original DVD in there.

What version is the DVD that I currently have? (my car is in the shop so i can't check)

What is the newest version available for the tsx?

Are the DVD's from the newer years (05-06-07) compatible with the 04 tsx?

Can the OEM unit play burned DVD discs?

 

You'll need to look at your disc to see what version you have.
If its the original 04 disc, there is an update for it. Your unit is only compatible w/ 04-05 year discs, if someone has an 06/07, its a different navi system.

No, the OEM headunit cannot play burned DVDs with the stock system. It is possible to add a converter box and an extra unit to play DVDs or other media on the stock system. Search the FAQs for that.

 

by burned dvd's, i mean the burned copies of the OEM navi dvd (not normal dvd's)

i.e. a burned copy of the update cd

Hello, have the same question as above user. I have a 2005 TSX and am looking to purchase a burnt DVD copy of the latest available Navi maps, etc. The link to the website above I suppose was removed; can someone repost?
