TSX install w/RCA's and no noise or snaps!!

I finally got tired of using the speaker outputs of the factory amp to feed my JL E6450. So I attached RCA's to the front line level outputs from the navigation deck and ran it to a Clarion EQS746 eq in the center console. Ran RCA's from their back to the JL amp. WOW, what a difference. The old setup had a slight hiss when you turned the volume all the way down from getting signal from the dirty factory amp. Now, no hiss and very quiet like it should be. No whine or noise and I can balance from left to right with no bleed over like others have reported. I used all Streetwires Zero Noise 2.0 RCA's. El-dude, add me to the tally of TSX's with no noise when attaching RCA's to the factory deck.

NO noise WITH a Clarion EQ! EQs are notorious sources of noise.

You ARE the man

I was surprised too for a $65 eq off ebay. Was going to get a audio control four.1 but figured I'd give the clarion a try since it was so cheap. Very pleased!!

Good job! I always figured the more stuff you put between the HU out lines and the amp the less noise you will get. I might try adding an EQ.
