tsx guys PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
this is for an 04 tsx
i have all but the remote wire hooked up...a lot of people are saying to use the yellow/red or yellow/green wire behind the center console or the cigarette lighter in the arm rest....
my quistion is how do you get to that...i mean if i choose to use the wire on the amp behind the console how do i get the cd tray thing out (without braking it) or how do i get to the wires for the cigarette light (outlet) in the armrest.
thanks

I too never heard of this while searching here, and still need a good remote wire location. Any additional info you could provide on it would be REALLY helpful.

Remote Wire Question
Could you use an "add a circuit" to the fuse box to get a remote wire? I don't really feel like taking apart my center console to get to the cig lighter...
If I used an add-a-circuit, anyone know a fuse that is only on when the car is on? Thanks

You could use the fuse box, but it would not be a true remote turn on wire because it has no relation to the OEM stereo. It would always turn on when you iginition turns on regardless of whether or not your stereo is on.
Ideally you want a remote wire that turns the amp on or off based on whether or not the stereo is on. The wire in the C Pillar used to turn on the FM antenna booster would be better for this. It is close to the trunk and the C pillar is not very hard to remove. You just need to pop off the SRS warning label lip and you'll be able to remove the pillar. You might even be able to get to the wire from within the trunk. If you are looking at the trunk from the back of the car, there is a harness on the top left behind the 6x9. I think the Fm antenna booster wire runs there, but I'm not 100%. If you have a TSX manual, look it up. Or maybe Zzzed can post some more info.
