i would just get a line-out convertor from www.davidnavone.com instead of using the high-level input from your amp. why? because if u use the high-level input, there is a chance you will have high floor noise. a LOC is pretty cheap and easy to install. that why you can run RCA's to the amp.

If the amp had true "hi-level"inputs, it's the same damn thing as using a Line Out Converter, it's just done inside the amp. You actually have more of a chance for a higher noise floor using a LOC b/c the RCA wires you use might pick up excess noise, etc.

The LOC's that David sells use transformers to isolate the signal. You will NOT have any ground loop/noise problems from the input to the amp.

Yea, ya still could. The isolation in the LOC only prevents noise from the speaker leads. If the RCA connecting wires are cheap and/or pass/cross other power wires, you could still have noise.

Personally... i don't think you need to go through your stock amp. If you have an after market cd player then just run it from you cd player. I did this in my 97 CL and had no trouble at all. any more questions PM me
