tape cassette deck not working

hello all,
So since I've had my car bout a year and a few months I've been playing my ipod through the cassette player. but now my cassette player gave out . is this a common problem? any suggestions on what to do? anything would help guys, have a good weekend

with now a days technology i havent head of anyone using their tape player for that. y not spend the few bux and that the blitz adapter thing. i dont think that my radio hase ever seen a cassette

try a cassette cleaning tape? found at dollar stores or radio snack

ya i get the same problem too.. stock head unit =

whats a cassette cleaner? and can i use blitzsafe if i got a 6 CD changer in the trunk?

I believe the blitzsafe works by just hooking up into the spot where the disc changer hooks up. Then you can use 6 playlists because the playlists take the place of the CDs.

i love using the cassette adapter.

i can hook up anything- ipod, zune, sansa or my cellphone.

kinda strapped for cash right now haha so im sticking to cds for now...but i will look into the blitzsafe
