Hey Folks,

I'm about to wire my system up, I have a JL Audio 500/1 and a Capacitor and a 12" w6, I was wondering if any has a similar set-up or something different with the same kind of power, but with the "factory bose" system still installed?

The reason why, is I want to know if the Bass will drown out the factory mids and highs... I do have after market tweeters mount in the "top of the pillars" so its right at the ear level... I'm also thinking of putting them in the top of the rear pillars also...

So what do the fellow TL owners think, will I need to replace the factory speakers, please let me know I'm so puzzeled?

For one, there is no Highs in the factory system. Its BLOZ...

Yes if you really start cranking the system you will drown out the factory speakers, and their 20w of sound. Upgrade the door speakers and get a good power supply for them.

Agree with Kris, upgrade the factory door speakers.
