TSX: system install questions

system install questions

Ok I'm installing a system in a 05 non navi tsx.

I using focal polyglass mids and tweets up front
focal polyglass mids in rear doors
jl audio 10w3
audison srx2s and an audison srx1 amps


want to keep the factory deck

what do i need to get this set up in my car?

This car uses an active crossover setup, dig in the DIY section and see if there's an easy way to tap into the pre-out wiring and patch that into your pre-amp section of your amps. You could also pony up for a processor like an Audison BitOne or MS8 to handle the task with EQ control and precise time alignment.

thats it no one else want to chime in. I really need help here didnt know if I should use a audio control unit or an req5 by mtx

unless you already own one of those, go with the ones I suggested. AC is not really making a modern product.

MS8 runs ~$580 right now.

edit* Saw the other post but unless it has 8 channels of input/output, Logic7 processing, auto-EQ, and so on... its not in the same playing field.

Don't go with the MTX...people report noise. You need something smarter.
