im getting ready to install my new system ( MB components front and rear, 2 10" Kicker S10L7, Fockford Fosgate Punch 400.4 and 800.2)

my questions are:

1. the 2 amps have speaker level inputs and RCA inputs so which would be better to use, the RCA's with an added LOC or the speaker level inputs disregarding the addition of a LOC?

2. if the LOC is better, should i use a 2 channel coming from the stock sub wiring or a 4 channel coming directly from the headunit?

help is greatly appreciated and deperately needed

RCA inputs are better.....

are you using the stock headunit? i did a little reserch and found the audio control HPX to be a great conpanion for stock headunits, it converts speaker line to RCAs and it also gives a greater voltage output towards your amp,(up to 13 volts!!!) i'm getting my and i will have it installed within 2 weeks, why dont you let me try it out...and i'll tell you if its good or not..... or ask streeteffectz..... he has exprience with it ....

RCA's are better. Since your upgrading all your doors, use a 4-channel LOC at the HU. From the LOC feed your 4-chanel amp and use a Y-adapter at at the same amp to feed your sub amp.
