Swapping stereo components

I'm debating on pulling my amp and speakers out of my old Honda and installing them into my 01 CLS, keeping the CLS head unit.

My question is this: Is the CLS stock head unit compatible with my old amp? Splicing isn't an issue. I'm just wondering if the ohm ratings are the same. Can I just wire in the head unit into the amp? What has to be done?

Thanks

The stock Bose amp and speakers are rated at 1 ohm, which usually makes it difficult to do a simple amp/speaker swap.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm questioning the output of the stock head unit and if it's plug-n-play with an aftermarket amp. Can you help? Thanks again
