Subs....

Hey guys, is it better to go with 2 8" subwoofers or one 10" subwoofer.......also, i'm juggling between either JL audio subs or kicker subs?......lemme know your thoughts.

car? budget? amp? space? all those things are needed to decide. shop around. look at some other systems in like automobiles and decide for yourself.

better to buy one really nice sub than two cheaper subs...one ten inch infinity perfect is better than two 8 inch kenwoods or something like that...

in my opinion.

It depends on what kind of music you want to listen too. Larger subs are better for deep rolling bass, but jazz, classical, and any other form of musc where you want to appreciate the instruments being played, will do better with the tighter 8 inch subs.

The 10W7 and the JL 500/1 was right around $1000 installed.....My one 10" sounds like 2 typical 12"ers....and it sounds good with all types of music.
