will you be getting it professionally done?

if youre doing it yourself, alot of time to work on it?
How many watts rms you planning to run?

~1500watts
Two dual 4ohm Image DYnamics 10" IDmax v3 wired to 1ohm
Sundown saz-1500d

~3000watts
Two dual 4ohm Fi Q 12" wired to 1ohm
or
Two Stereo integrity Mag's
Sundown saz-3000d

Why 2 subs? 1 ported IDMAX 10 will do you good. Or 1 ported JL 10W6 will save you trunk space.

If your not looking to take up a lot of space 1 sealed 10 will do you good. I have a single Fi Q 10" in a small sealed box pushed by a alpine pdx 1.1000 and it sounds very good and takes up hardly any space.

That sounds nice. What kind of box do you have?

if you want 2 subs, and don't really care about overall output i'd probably try 2 IDQ's
1 sub would probably give you more options.......IDMAX, SI Mag, RL-p, w6/w7, etc.

unless you have a ridiculous budget, then I'd try some critial mass, or aliante's

I don't think size 10 vs. 12 really matters, get what you can fit.

I would say go with 2 10's. They would take up less space, it won't be that loud and you will get a tighter more punchy bass response. There is a vendor on here that builds some nice sub boxes...I can't remember his uner name, but search and pm him.

I always see his postings but I can't remember his name either. It's like, unclad or unglued or something weird.

That's true. There is a guy on here that makes some killer sealed boxes. They're fiberglass and a perfect fit for your car. They take up such little space that you'll barely even notice that it's in your trunk and will sound better than pretty much any other box you could build. Now what was his name again............?

So you would want a single enclosure on the passenger side instead of the drivers side? Or you would want both sides done? Your amp won't fit under the trunk floor with your spare tire there. Toss the spare!

$350 plus shipping for the drivers side or $820 plus shipping for both sides.

The spare tire well is a great place to hide your amps and other audio processing gear.

My bad uncald4. I knew you are the man to check for the sub boxes, I just didn't want to give him a wrong name.

You need to check out this other thread in the vendors section. https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/custom-fiberglass-subwoofer-enclosures-358676/

Yeah, I had a 10W3 in my trunk. Similar enclosure. My trunk didn't rattle at all. Acura was pretty good with their sound deadening from the factory.

I can do 8, 10 and 12" subwoofers in the 2nd gen CL and TL.

White92 is right. There is a lot more info and comments on the thread link that he posted.
