Sub and Amp Suggestions

I like the bass from the stock system but wish it was more consistant between CD, Radio, and my i Pod. I'm looking to get a 8 or 10"sub and an amp but have no clue as where to start looking. I'd like to go with JL. Anyone have any suggestions on what to go with as far as JL goes.

How many subs do you want, what music do you listen to, how much space are you willing to lose, what kind of amp do you want to run(or how much wattage do you think you want to run)... JL auido has speakers for just about every situtation..

I listen to everything. Mostly Hip Hop kinda stuff and bands like Korn etc. I'm thinking an 8" sub with an amp around 200w would do the trick. I really don't care about how much space is used up. I hardly ever put anything in the trunk. Does this help?

JL Audio 250/1 Amp and a 10" W3v2 would probably be perfect for you. I used to have a 12" W3 and it sounded really good. I gave it to my friend when i got a W6, and he loves it. He has the same set-up as listed, except with a 12" sub. I must say though, if you are willing to spend the extra money and use some extra trunk space, you should just get a W6 or W7.
