TL: Sub and Amp install using Factory deck and amp?

Sub and Amp install using Factory deck and amp?
So I have a 1999 acura Tl and I bought a set of 2 12 inch subs with an amp off a friend and went to install them the other day, and can't figure out where the RCA cables go into using the stock radio. I also couldn't figure out what the cord does that plugs into the remote part on my amp. I've read and it said I need this adapter

So if I get that in plug it in will it fix my problems?
I'm hoping to install them and have them working by Monday 8-5-13, Any help?
