Sub + Amp addition...

Sorry to be a pain, but here is what I got. Will it be a simple install and will I need any other parts... The reason I ask is that I bought all the parts and I think I bought really good parts. When I drop off the stuff to be installed, I do not want to find out I need something else and have the shop sell me their average stuff/no name brand...

Here is what I got. A PG Ti600 amp, Kicker Solobaric 12" Square sub with box and Scosche Amp kit/wiring..

Thanks

You're also going to need some way to get a signal to the amp. Most likely they will want to use line output converters hooked to the rear speakers. That's the easiest way to do this.

If you're only planning on running a sub off the signal, it should produce decent sound quality and shouldn't run more than $20 or $30.

Yeah! I think the installer mentioned something about a converter, hence this post...

Will start researching converters now.... Are they pretty ordinary parts or is there a really good one out there ??

Nice set-up. So, you replaced the HU. How many channels is the amp? I am assuming a 4 channel????

Explain and pictures when you can.

Yeah! I am pleased with my amp + sub but can see the day when I decide to change out the HU/speakers/amp.

So. Are you amping your speakers with the stock amp??

Our amp is a 2 channel amp so I am assuming that it is amping the woofers.

Duh! I was thinging you had the Ti400. I really like the amp.

How do you 'play' with or run the amp????
