I am upgrading my stereo and will be using a 1/2 Din-sized in-dash equalizer as my master control. The unit is about half an inch too wide to fit in the existing storage bin so I will need to find or fabricate a faceplate to fit over the opening. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this, please let me know.

If your component is a regular din going in Acura sells a face plate to match the same color as the one comming out.

 

There is an attachment kit used to install the Acura MP3 player and cassette player p/n 08B06-SEC-210. It contains a faceplate and the brackets to install the players. See the instructions at:

Thanks for the info. I'll still need to jury-rig something to close the gap but the interior brackets are the biggie.
