what size sub would be able to fit in the stock location of the bose sub. is it even possible?

 

do a search. the stock one is 10" but its a HUGE project to get a aftermarket sub in there cus the torsion bars are in the way

 

hmmm i think its only 8"... can someone verify this?
actually im just too lazy to check on the audio section haha

 

its a 9 inch with some trimming a 10 will fit. the kicker RMB8 will fit if you can find one. its more of a hassle than any thing to get a speaker in there. the torsion bars are in the way for 1. then you need to find a freeair sub to go into that location. and the sound? you never know how good it will sound till you actually try it

 

i jus put a 10 inch pioneer free air sub in and it sounds better but holy crap ALOT of work first of all getting it to fit in the hole THEN the subwoofer grill wont fit back on top of the new sub so i had to use a dremel to carve out and area for the new sub to fit under the grill. sounds better but ALOT of work and in my opinion defenitly not worth it. jus get a box in ur trunk

 

Just throw two 10s or two 12s in your trunk...

 

ya but i dont want to take up any trunk space
