Stock Stereo bit the dust...
After listening to the clicking noise from the CD player for a week, I did the required search and tore the dash and center console apart and got the stereo out...not fixable, can't say I tried...the write-up on this site was perfect!
So now I drive around like it was broken into until the Alpine unit arrives!

I think I have the same problem. It started last night and it just keeps clicking when I try to play or eject CDs. Radio still works fine, though.
