SteveStMS - Pls help with Video-NAV kit

I'm working on the kit and I've complete soldering the RGB1.

I'm now trying to connect my 4PDT relay. But when I look behind the NAV, I see 4 plugs,
a 1-pin, an 8-pin, a 12-pin, and a 16-pin plugs. and on each of them, there are 1 wire, 8 wires, 7 wires and 9 wires connected to them respectively.
I can't seem to locate the 20-pin which you've describe.

How do you know which is Pin-1, Pin-2 & Pin-10 (power connection for the RGB1 to the NAV)?

and finally, which are the 4 wires for the video signal to the NAV, would the 4 wire (green, white, red, black) be from the same plug? cuz every one of them have a green wire... AHHH!!!!

THANKS!!!

Dude, here you go

Personally, I would use the Navi connectors found in the trunk area instead of the one's behind the Navi in the dash. Really, you need the scematics (found in Helms manual) before you start cutting.

The White, Red, Yellow and Green wires you need are found on the 12-pin plug. It's the middle plug on the back of the navigation computer in the trunk.

THANK YOU!!!

SteveStMS, Kensteele, you two are the man!

another question from the clueless guy... how or where can I draw power to the decoder from the NAV_DVD player, in another words how can I hook up the orange(constant, black(accessory), blue(ground, can I ground it elsewhere, ie, on the circuit board?)

My decoder is powered from wires from the fuse box, completely separate from the Navi. It is also grounded from a separate wire that connects to a screw someplace in the chassis that's well grounded.

Just wanna celebrate my 'turning to a freak' post here!

Kensteele, so...the blue wire is labeled as 'remote' what exactly is it for? there are two connection to the wire, so I guess I should connect the main one right? thanks.

You lost me. I did the hookup earlier this summer and I don't quite remember. Maybe Steve can help. Seems to me the Decoder blue wire was labeled ACC for accessory.

Power can be picked up from the 1st 8-pin connector. Pin 1 (upper left corner) is constant power for AVC-RGB1 decoder yellow wire. Pin 2 is the accesory power for AVC-RGB1 decoder blue wire and Pin 4 is ground for AVC-RGB1.
