My stock deck is slowly dieing and I started to look into some stereos to replace it. Ideally I want a double deck because I can't stand the little pocket underneath the decks of the normal size decks. So my first question is; does anyone know of a double deck stereo that they were able to fit into the dash, or is it just not possible. Also, any pictures of after market decks in the dash that anyone has would be great. I can only find a couple pictures of them and none of them look any good. Thanks.

 

in a 97 tl you have a double din opening, you will be able to fit most any radio you can imagine into there. The only question is what do you want.

 

That's what I thought, but according to crutchfield.com none of them fit. Is that not the case?

 

nope the 97 tl uses the same standard double din opening that the legend used, the accord used, etc. .
