Double Din Stereo Install - 1st Gen.

Does anyone have any experience on installing a double din stereo on a 1st generation TL? I can't find a kit for easy installation, apparently everything needs to be custom. Any information would be great.

I haven't started the installation yet, but I have two questions. How did you handle the factory amp, did you just bypass it after installing an after market deck? The second question is, do you have a picture of what your double din looks like in your car? Thanks.
