stereo issues
so i unhooked my battery because i have a bunch of stuff stuck on it so i decided to clear it out. but my stereo keeps on saying error and i have no idea how to reset it. got any ideas?
I believe you have to input your car's radio code after reconnecting your battery. It's a specific number for your car, so if you can't find your number, try the dealership or whoever you bought it from.
My number was on a little white card (credit card size), and I think it was 5 digits.

if your entering the radio code and it says error try disconnecting the antenna wire from the radio then entering the code and reconnecting antenna wire. it happened to my car when i first bought it and i found those instructions on this forum.
well i figured it out how to get the code im getting it from the shop i take my car into so hopefully that should do it cause it gives me five chances until i have to disconnect the battery again but this time ill have the code
IIRC, step-by-step instructions should be your car's manual.
