It works for me. Though I had it installed by an AZiner. There's a short delay but that's the nature of these unit however.

I have the same exact unit in my car. I have a 03 CL-S and my headunit is a Pioneer Avic-Z1. There is a slight delay when turing the volume down, but not up or changing the tracks. If i were to do it all over again i would still get this interface..just my

It should plug in to the back. It's the car side that's fun.

I was thinking of getting the official steering wheel remote, the CD-SR1 for the Pioneer Z1, does anybody have any experiences with that?

Can the stock remote be completely removed, and replaced with this one? will it still look good?

Does this remote get wired into the car or does it work over the IR signal?

does anybody have pics of this remote installed?

I really dont wanna pay $69 for something that will only let me keep 3 buttons on my steering wheel remote, when i could instead get the official Pioneer Z1 remote for $20 and have full control of my unit
