Static in one channel of a 4c amp.

Hey, guys... I have a question. If an amp (Phoenix Gold Ti 500.4 Titanium Amp ) is sending out a little static to one of the channels, what do you think the problem might be? Its only to one channel....

How do you think this could be fixed if its possible to fix?

Thanks in advance!

could be speaker, could be amp... switch the RCA's from left to right, and then see if the sound changes.... The other small possibilities are bad deck, and wiring, but you'll be able to track that down with a few extra parts as well....

well, the thing is, I don't actually have the amp hooked up to anything myself. I was thinking about buying it off some guy if I found out the problem was fixable. my guess was bad wiring... but if it is the amp, could it just be some internal..uh...'wirning' stuff? :p
