STATIC, how do i get rid of it?

When my crossovers were laying on the front floor maps, speakers sounded fine with no static. Now that I've concealed them, driver side in the little pocket left of the steering wheel column, and passenger side inside the glove box. I zip tied all the wires that came out of the crossovers so that it would be more properly concealed. I've checked all the speakers, isolating each of them, and then turning the volume down to zero to see if there was static, and there was on each. Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

are the speakers powered off of your deck? if they arent, then you should intall some ground loop isolators. I was having a similar problem, and JDCL22 recommended the radio shack ground loop isolators, and they fixed it. you can get a pair of them off of the radio shack web site for like 30 bucks.
