speakers

I am looking for door speakers I should get to go with my 2 eclipse 88120 DVC aluminum subs in my 99 TL

Can you give me some feedback on what speakers for front and back would compliment the subs the best, if I listen to hip hop mainly

And what do you think of Infinity Kappa 63.3i 6-1/2" 3-way Speakers for the fronts

Thanks

I always push JL and Infinity as high end stuff here in the forums. While I've always installed JL in my own stuff, I've always installed Infinity in my brothers'. I will have to say, Infinity makes absolutely crystal sound...totally crystal. JL will give you a bit more bump, at maybe a SLIGHTLY (not much) lesser quality. I also have to say...if you have subs in the back and either set up front, or most for that matter, your midbass may be hurting...just a thought.

Still depends on what you're shooting for out of your components...price wise, MB Quarts or JBLs. Boomy bass, Rockford Fosgate. Sound Q, Infinity. Solid bass with a little bit higher response, JL. I've always gone JL, and that's what's going in this car...

p.s. - a good idea I suggest...go to a car stereo store...get them to bring out all the component sets they have...hook them all up to the same amp for reference...and pop in a CD of your music. Listen to them...figure out which sounds the best to you.
