gps for laptop
gps for laptop
Is anybody using a gps for laptop solution? I was looking around and found TravRoute CoPilot 2002. Has anybody tried it? I am thinking of getting a laptop and I think this would be a GREAT reason to get a new laptop (in addition to having mp3 and dvd playback).

I was planning on getting a laptop sometimes anyways. So if somebody has used travroute's copilot and thinks it's worth it, then I don't think I can hold off on getting a laptop any longer.
I have the Sony Skymap 2000 GPS for my laptop... I don't thinkit's made anymore though, you might find it on Ebay...It's awesome, and it's voice activated...It's got 3 different cd's for the three parts of the US, and you install whatever you want to install as needed...

IMO, the best map software is Street Atlas USA Deluxe.
Does it do voice instructions like the CoPilot? I think the street atlas map software is better than traveroute's map, but I think travroute's software was designed more for the driver. It's a tough decision.

Ha, well guilty as charged...I don't
It's just nice for friends to bring their DVDs on long trips or their CDs, and me to be able to copy them. It's also nice to be able to make a copy of the 12000 mp3's or 120 movies I have in the car
