Has anyone had this problem?
I tend to blast my music...n now there's this weird buzzing sound...as if something is loose in the rear....could some wiring be burned already?
i cant even play music at Vol 8 without hearing hte buzzing...

 

Your rear deck 'tray' might be rattling. That's the flat deck inside the cabin behind the headrests of the back seat.

I had similar problems, so to prevent the dealer from saying that they couldn't hear it rattling I made a CD with cuts from songs that I knew would rattle it.

I found that alot of the songs from the Swordfish soundtrack would make the rattle happen.

Do you have a cell phone or mobile device near your stereo?

 

Took 2 trips and they used 5 screws to get mine quiet, heavy bass even under moderate volume would cause it, a buzz from the back. My dealer then took my demo CD which I made to illustrate the problem and put it in 4 new TLs on the lot and all did it.

 

Ya, mine rattles too, think it's the sub, u can only here it with the volume down, once you turn it up it gets drown out. But still enough to get on my nerves

 

Mine's 700miles for 2.5 weeks and it started to have this sub buzzing and glovebox rattling symptoms. I'm planning to visit Rosenthal with a demo CD and a print out of michal334's fix instruction. I also had some other rattle sounds from rear deck, visor, and dashboard when over some not-so-flat but not-so-bumpy roads. All my headrest squeaks on bumpy road if in their lowest position. I have to make sure all four headrests detached from the seat bodies. :smackhead OH~~ Hope my dealer can fix it~

 

Hey guys,

I purchased my TL at the end of March, and a couple of days later I noticed a buzzing noise when playing heavy bass from my hip-hop CDs. I wasn't even blasting the stereo when I heard the buzzing.

I took it to the dealer and they said the speaker was blown and that apparently its been a problem with some TLs. They replaced it free of charge. Now the buzzing is gone and my subwoofer sounds as good as new.

So.. if you're experiencing the buzzing... just take it in and have them check to see if its a blown speaker. Tell them that you know it's been a common problem and that you don't expect to pay for the replacement or the service.

 

Wow, that's a pretty arrogant attitude! :o
