hi, not sure if you guys remember me, I am a pittsburgh based installer who was going to get a tsx in for an install. got the car in on monday morning, so far, I dampened the doors so they are free of rattles, and installed a polk cox inthe rear doors and arc audio component in the front door and front stock tweeter location. the next step is building a fake floor holding two infinity 10s a phoenix gold xs 4600 amp, a coustic crossover, and the two arc audio component crossovers.

now my question is this, i know about the lowering of bass at high volumes and rasiing of bass at low volumes, now is there a volume setting on the stock headunit (non navi) where no rasiing or lowering occurs? like around mid way? if so, i would want to set my amp gains so the maximum sound level is achieved in this range...

my second qustion is if the stock amp does this bass raising and lowering thing on ALL the speakres, or just say...the rear deck 6x9s...

what is dampening the doors mean? and if it does free my car of rattles when and where can i get this done dealer seems like they are not willing to fix b/c "they cant hear it"
