Solution to keep Navi voice after head unit change

Here's a thread from the Odyclub that documents a solution for keeping the Navi voice after swapping out the head unit.

thats neat but I dont think its the install that I would want. Instead I would opt for the Sony switch which would switch the front speakers to navi only when the voice is talking.... better IMO.

Yeah, but I think the Sony switch has been discontinued or is at the verge of. It was out of stock for a long time on Crutchfield, and now it's no longer on the website
