I didn't see anyone talk about this part, so I'll ask here: does this do exactly the same thing as the Soundgate SNHOND3?

The difference for me is that this place ships to Canada (and it's cheaper than a SNHOND3 actually). It sounds and looks the same, I just wonder if there's a catch. Anyone tried this?

They don't even seem to have a catchy name for this thing, it's just "HONDA AUX INTERFACE ACCORD 2003+ & 2004+ (FOR 03+ ACCORDS and 04+ TSX) #200"

I called a local place in Ottawa and they said they could get the SNHOND3 for CAN $229, which is a LOT more even with shipping and customs.

How much is $229 CAN in US Dollars?

If you get someone from the US to send you a SNHOND3 and mark it on the custom slip as a gift...then do you still have to pay for the customs tariffs?

I have posted on this item before....it is 75 for a non nav and 115 for the nav version...which makes it cheeper in both cases than the shondo3. i have my on order right now and am waiting to test it out...stay tuned for the report.

With taxes if I buy in Canada it turns out to be about US $200. If I get it from this website I can probably save about CAN $100.

I think I'll put in an order... I just hope it fits in that compartment, from the picture it seems a little bit more bulky than the SNHOND3. Is there room left over in there after installing that one?

anyone needs SNHOND3???...i bought it..but didnt use it cuz im wiring the speakers to the N1unit...no need to use stock stereo.....let me know i'll let it go for cheap

This works fine. I'm going on almost 8 months with mine in and have had no issues. I have installed 4 of these in other TSX's as well and they work great

I just got a new tsx with navi... should I get this one? it seems cheaper and less trouble than the Soundgate one since that has to be modded to work with the navi, right?
