Hey all,
I am new to the web site as I am now a proud owner of a 2001 TL. I am interested in having fog lamps placed in the 2 black spots where it looks as though fog lamps should have been placed on the bumper. I want to know:
A) Will the RL fog lamps fit the 2001 TL?
B) Is this a hard conversion?
I like to keep the car as close to OEM as possible and I would like to have the RL fog lamps with the OEM switch for my TL. Please let me know.

A) NO
B) Yes, incredibly hard, lot's of fabrication needs to be done to the bumper.
C) No one to my knowledge has attempted it.
D) You are better off getting a set of OEM Honda Odyssey fogs and having a body shop tear your bumper apart to get them to fit.

 

you can do like songoku did and fit accord fogs there. they look great.

I Just Read A Post That Songoku Put Accord Fog Lights On A Tl. What Year Accord Lights And What Hardware Is Needed. Will It Work For A 99. Can I Get Them From A Junk Yard. Thanks

 

i met a guy in jersey with rl fogs in his 2000 tl, he said it was a bitch

 

@cur@-TL do you have any more pics of the fogs from a front view of the whole car... I like the idea of the accord fogs, but it all depends on if they look out of place, being round and all it might make a difference..

I really like the way the fogs look in the SL500 it is not a big fog light to fill up the hole. It is a round fog with cage around it.. looks really nice IMO.....for a $160,000 car is kind of has to look nice though, right? here is a pic of the SL's fogs..
