Post retrofit navi

Okay, i've seen various posts about this and that. Never, have i seen one about a non-navi'd owner retro-fitting the navi from a wrecked tl/cl???? Is it possible

Yes this has been talked about more than a few times. It probaly could be done but the cost would be great. Remember that the manual controls for the climate system are involved with the NAV.

would it be more costly then getting it as a dealer option ($2000) right out of the gate??

I would assume so, since you still gotta buy the Screen, the DVD for the navigation & installation and all that custom work. It'll easily run you 2-3 Grand.
