Exclamation Replacing the Head Unit???

I have 2004 Tsx non-Navi and am Looking to replace and add some speakers. I have already replaced all the stock speakers. I was wondering what to use if I wanted to add an Alpine CDA-9853 deck. Do they an aftermarket bracket or do I have to intall in the pocket. I want to add a 12" JL sub and adapt my ipod to the head unit! any recommendations will be greatly apprecited.

Well, I guess "Search" would be my first... cause this has been discussed quite a bit.

In the Master DIY thread for TSX I believe you'll find a post about using the OEM DVD player bracket and installing the HU where the big pocket is. You can't put it IN the pocket because the hinges don't have a DIN width between them.

But you can connect an Icelink iPod interface to the OEM HU, so I don't know that you need the Alpine for that.
