<<Yes, it's true that I have been doing modifications for a select few people using the Pioneer GEX-P7000TV instead of the AVC-RGB1, but as pointed out the GEX needs to also have a Pioneer display connected to get on screen text display to appear on the navi screen. The on screen text is needed to setup the GEX RF mod and inputs for basic usage (channel numbers, video input labels). >>

A guy on ClubLexus was able to display setup and channel numbers on his Navi screen. I posted a link to that thread a while back.

Yes, I've been in touch with this guy too. He is just now testing out the Pioneer GEX for use with Lexus (Denso) navigation systems.

Wait! So does this unit work? What are the mods you have to do to make it work and if all you need is a Pioneer Display for it to work? SO if you work trying to install Video/Navi and maybe a VIsor Screen or headrest you can do it????

Smile New Nav-TVTuner w/Rearview function

Check this out guys!!! Found this in the Acura MDX forum. Planning on getting one for my Black TL. I have copy the post from MDX forum below:

New Nav-TVTuner w/Rearview function
Been looking at this new Nav-TVTuner with rearview system in the ODYClub forum. This seems to be the best unit out there now and seem to be with a plug & play systrem without cutting the NAV wires. The price also seems reasonable considering all the built-in functions. The links below:

coolBlackTL,

It looks like to me like you're the guy trying to sell these. The user names on the three forums you posted are all very similar:

Ody2000
MDXSilver2001
coolBlackTL

On the MDX forum and this forum, both are the first posts.

Just thought it was interesting...
