Removing headunit

Ok, I've read all the posts in the forum i could find about this but it was very hard to find info about a second gen. removal. I still don't understand how to remove the headunit so i can put in a cable harness in the back. Thanks for the help.

Where you located in Pa?

You need to start from the back of the center console and slowly work forward.. Without a DIY and without pictures I can't remember exactly which bolts etc.. But start there and just work your way forward and you'll be fine..

You're looking to add a cable harness or a cable into the Aux port on it?

not sure what pd2 is. if it goes into the cd player port -- it's easy. i got it behind the head unit without having to remove it. you can do it easily from the passenger side. just feel for the hole with your fingers first. took me about 10 min. if your fingers are too big, ask a girl to do it for you. first allign it with the hole then push the harness in with a flat screw driver.
